i still haven't heard ANYTHING from financial aid. i'm pretty sure i can't actually start the veterinary tech program until next fall but i can do the pre-reqs anytime before then. i'm also thinking about volunteering somewhere because i'm pretty sure my six weeks of employment at petsmart, however long ago it was, isn't real experience.
i love my new camera but i haven't had many opportunities to use it since i'm still working 4 days a week and the weather is turning rainy/cold.
apparently the everett area is very prudish and offended by bikini baristas. WTF? everett is a huge shit hole. it smells like a sewer and i'm sure i could easily come up with a list of at least ten other ways to improve the city instead of trying to ban bikini coffee stands. the signs warn of said bikinis, so they're easily avoided. but please, keep sucking the cock that is starbuck's. or seattle's best. same company. really, i don't understand how this is a problem. unless kids are drinking coffee, which is a parenting issue, not related to young women in bikinis. if men will pay the extra money to see them in their bikinis then they should be able to run such a business. it's not like they're stripping.
more and more i am thinking that i need to:
A) get my veterinary tech certificate
B) intern somewhere
C) flee to another country, such as new zealand where i will need a special skill to be accepted as a citizen
anyway, i'm full of random frustration right now, aside from the bikini thing. somehow i missed the whole ralph lauren ad with the head-is-bigger-than-waist model until a few hours ago. that doesn't surprise me, but it sparked a random searching of body image related topics. and i came across this jewel...www.missbimbo.com i really thought it was a joke until i signed up, just to see how fucked up it really is. sweet jesus. and yet, what a brilliant idea. i guess parents really aren't paying any attention at all anymore. fortunately for myself i've always had mostly involved parental units and somehow i avoided the "omg i'm so fat" stage of pre/post-pubescence. i'm not really sure what i'm trying to say other than the mind behind this website must surely have an eternity of torture/ridicule/elevator music to look forward to.
the more i browse the web the more i support many of the things that make up 4chan.
